"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dvele Inn in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and it was a truly amazing experience. The decor and design is absolutely stunning, reflecting the same beauty seen in the photos. Plus, each morning, we were treated to thoughtful breakfast baskets filled with delicious local treats, a wonderful way to start the day. Additionally, the inn's location is ideal, with several delightful cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. I can’t recommend Dvele Inn...

"The team at the Doubletree were fantastic - they went absolutely above and beyond for us. We arrived on a red eye flight with no expectation to check in that morning, only to check our bags so we could wander around downtown St Johns while we waited for check in time. Our room was ready before 11am and we were able to get a much needed rest then we could enjoy the rest of our day. This was so appreciated as we were traveling with 2 kids under 10 years old. Staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Located downtown so conveniently near restaurants, shops and the harbour. A short drive to signal hill. We had a great stay and highly recommend! "
"Really nice stay. Walking distance to Water street and George street. Hop on hop off bus stop just up the street. Nice view of the harbour from the higher floors. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "
"Beautiful, historic building. Rooms were well equipped, lovely and spacious. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. Mary is a delight who gives her all to ensure a pleasant stay."
"We thought the building had a quaint classic appeal. The location is excellent with good parking. Our room was really spacious with a large bathroom. Very clean. The hotel recommends the Gypsy tearoom for dinner. We tried it out and it was delicious. Try the lemon cheesecake for dessert! The staff at the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. "
