Flight stop… nothing else but value for the money

Hi, On arrival we had no help with our luggage or bags, we just stood in reception waiting for some attention or help with Check in but just felt like we were ignored and in everyone’s way. We booked a last minute room which had a beautiful view over the grounds of the hotel but couldn’t believe how small the bed was, the bed wasn’t attached to the headboard so we lost pillows between it. Had a very uncomfortable night and actually fell out the side of the bed. Breakfast the next day was delicious however after the night sleep we had we couldn’t really wait to leave.

I absolutely loved my stay here. I would recommend it and would stay again. The staff were wonderful. The food was delicious. There was plenty of parking. My room was simple but I had everything I need. I found it very convenient that there was a restaurant and bar on site. The town itself is lovely. The locals use the bar and also the cafe and shop just a short walk away. The only areas for improvement was the carpet in my room needed a deep clean or replacement, and there were some inconsistencies with the housekeeping. The first clean was basic and then after that whoever was doing my clean was much better. I slept very well in my very cosy bed. Overall, I absolutely loved it.
