★ Disappointing Stay - Hidden Fees and Poor Maintenance Our recent stay was highly disappointing. First, the parking situation is a total rip-off; you are forced to pay $44 per day for valet because there is no other parking on-site. The rooms themselves are tiny. The layout offers no privacy because the bathroom door fails to block out any sound, causing everything to echo loudly. Cleanliness and maintenance are also major issues. We noticed a strange stain on our sheets, a cracked sink, and a cracked, disgusting toilet seat that desperately needs to be replaced. To cap it all off, their billing practice is incredibly frustrating-instead of a single incidental hold, they hit your card with a separate $50 refundable charge every single day. Extremely terrible experience overall.

I traveled to Pittsburgh for a Pirates game with a friend back in June. This place was perfect for us. We rented 3D. It was a clean, a two bedroom, two bath apartment, and six twin beds with an easy 15-minute walk to the PNC Park. Crossing the Roberto Clemente bridge was a blast with all the fans. Also Stay Pittsburgh is walking distance to the Monongahela Incline (drops you off in Mount Washington) and the Market Square where I relaxed with a Primanti Bros sandwich. The price was way better than a single hotel room. Truth be told it’s not a Ritz Carlton but like I said it’s walking distance to everything. Some issues we experienced – their “About this property” promotes Street parking available, so we thought FREE street parking. This is not the case, just an FYI you can park on the street but it’s very expensive. They should update their “About this property” to state PAID street parking available or state there are many parking garages in the area that you can park for $25-$30 dollars a night which is not bad but people should know. Although the place is clean, and an awesome location, things like the towels and pots and pans seem like they are from the 1970s. Also, some aging towel racks and faucets. I didn’t mind just something you should beware. Overall, if I ever return to Pittsburgh I would definitely stay there again even with my wife, of course with an apartment that does not have twin beds. Remember location, location, location is key!

The room was TINY, could barely move around. Nowhere to hang longer clothes because a refrigerator was directly under the hanging bar. One low chair by a fold-down wooden slat for a "desk," but couldn't walk around to the side of the bed with the chair out to the "desk." Breakfast (extra $20 per night) was good. Lunch cost us $61 for 2 sandwiches, which we had to wait 35 minutes for, and the grilled cheese was a cold slab of cheese. Had to send back to the kitchen to get it grilled/melted.

Let me start off by saying that I expect more from a Marriott hotel. I had a severely molded pillow, I didn't realize it until morning when I flipped the pillow. The following night I noticed a bed bug on the sheet as I was covered with it. Although we took off all blankets and mattress covers and didn't notice any others. Definitely won't be staying there again.

Everything was great! Very clean and actually smelled wonderful!!!
