Albufeira Old Town Vacation Packages

We had a wonderful stay and cannot fault anything. The accommodation, set amongst the orange groves, was amazing and we particularly loved the salt water swimming pool and rooftop terrace. Breakfast was beautifully presented and offered plenty of choice. Many thanks to Sergio, OD, and his staff who made our stay so memorable. Ola Yogi. We hope to return next year.

Quinta do Paral hotel and winery is one experience you do not want to miss. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by staff and treated to a glass of their lovely wine we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The rooms are modern and beautiful designed and decorated. You experience the sense of calm created by the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the service is 5-star. The restaurant creates the perfect ambiance for dining and the food is creative and beautifully prepared and presented. Would like to thank Andreia, Marta, Bruma and Sofia for making our stay a memorable one. Would also like to thank the chef and his staff for our wonderful dining experiences. We look forward to our next stay.

Villa was moldy but tolerable for the weekend. Sheets had stains. Housekeeping didn't do much. Breakfast left much to be desired. Check-in was empty when we arrived and no staff was able to tell us where to go to check in or when the desk would be staffed. They don't answer the phone. I requested late check out which was accepted and I put do not disturb on the door. Housekeeping still barged in and woke us up and was annoyed we hadn't left. Overall it could've been worse.

Pro: upgraded to a larger room; small supermarket on property; on the beach; AC unit Cons: very loud construction noise in the room next door starting at 8AM and lasting all day long; they have onsite laundry facilities that cost $7.00 USD to wash per load and then $7.00 to dry in a small capacity machine!!! $28.00 USD to wash and dry 2 loads of laundry; building is pretty run down both inside and outside

We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite split between two families with 3 very young children. Suite was nice and well maintained with view to the golf course. We stayed at the resort with the half board option (breakfast and dinner included) however it was very unclear as to what was included and what wasn't (or how much the food credit is). When we checked in with Juliana, she mentioned that all restaurants and room service were included in the half board package that we purchased. However when we checked out with another man, he printed our invoice that included all the charges of room service and said that room service was not included, and some of the other restaurants for breakfast as well. We had to go back and forth with him for a very long time before they finally removed all those charges. Meanwhile we had to have our young kids wait longer in the lobby when they were already exhausted. On one of the days after we came back from the beach and all the kids were ready for their bath, the hot water was not working for the whole unit so we had to wait for maintenance to come and reset the water - another inconvenience. Our key cards also would randomly not work during our stay and we had to go back to the lobby each time to get our cards fixed. Lastly, our washing machine made our clothes smell like smoke after we used it. So bad that we had to hang everything outside as it made the entire unit smell. Please do better next time and make the half board rules more clear.
