"We were very happy with our hotel experience which allowed us to be able to walk to the KC Royals game and not worry about driving/parking. Breakfast was okay could have more variety to include more fruit, granola, etc. Room was nice and cool. But unfortunately, we were not able to take showers since the shower knob broke off and we couldn't get the water to turn on. This happened late at night after the game. We informed the front office but unfortunately nothing could be done since rooms were all sold out. We informed the front office again during check out and was told that we would be able to get a room in the future at no cost. Hopefully this is the case."

"Great place to stay, very rustic with great amenities. Beautiful pond in the back with walking paths. Very relaxing outside. The staff was great too. They also had an indoor to outdoor pool. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because we thought the mattress was a little uncomfortable and they could use better pillows. It was conveniently located to restaurant and the Cable Dahmer Music Venue."

"A nice, clean hotel and the staff was helpful at check-in when my online reservation did not come up as I had placed it and they made changes to better fit my family's need. It was also quite a quiet hotel even though it was fully booked. The location was great - close to 435 easy to get to the venues we needed. The only thing that was a little sub-par was the breakfast. The coffee machine was broken and the replacement didn't work very well. My kids had a few stale items and the hot food was just okay."

"We enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff was amazing and so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and so was the older lady that worked in the breakfast area. She was amazing! Would definitely stay again if we’re in this area."

"The room was very nice and spacious, but the shower floor was dingy. Actually, the whole bathroom was dingy. The countertop is clean, but the red wood had layers of grime. The white paint was yellowing and especially underneath the sink when you’re sitting on the toilet, you can see how dirty the floor actually is. Normally, I would ask to change rooms but we were there late on a Thursday staying till Sunday so I’ve just ignored it. The pool water was cloudy and the chlorine was overwhelming. But the evening reception was lovely and the free omelette station and breakfast was wonderful as well. Super busy place the front desk gentlemen Brent was very gracious and helpful and overall it was a nice stat."

"This was an excellent experience from the front desk staff to the maintenance and housekeeping. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I truly enjoyed having a balcony to sit out on in the evening and early morning it was great. Everything about our visit was amazing and I will return."
