Climax Vacation Packages

The front desk staff treated me as though I were an inconvenience. There were no smiles, and the interaction felt like I was asking for a favor rather than receiving basic customer service. This was, by far, the worst experience I've had at any hotel. My flight was canceled enroute after paying for two nights. I got to the hotel the next day and was told that I have been charged and yet marked as no show. Despite all my explanation, the guy was angrily giving me options likd take it or leave it. There was no single empathy for the stress that I went through and being new in the town. I had to drive around in my rental car and look for basic stuff like bathrooms and rest room to refresh myself. I will not recommend this hotel at all.

If a traveler is one who can appreciate wonderful history of a given area within any town, who marvels at the architecture of the early 1900's, who respects the work to refurbish and maintain a nearly 100 year old home, is charmed by the landscape and relishes calm, civility and old luxury........this is the place to stay. Sans a few quirks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt transported back to the roaring '20's. The only think they we would have liked to have enjoyed, was a breakfast vs a continental menu. We met one of the owners and he was gracious with his time and key historical notes regarding the house and previous owners.
