Breakfast was busy every day but staff kept up with the demand very well. The food quality was good as well.

We were able to bring the dog. Got a huge room above the lobby and at first I was disappointed because the door of the room opened directly into the breakfast area. Definitely got a little louder in the morning when that was open. Stairs in the room went down to open right beside the front desk into the lobby. I wasn't expecting a full set of stairs in the room, but it turned out to be relatively convenient to bring the dog out. The girl at the desk did not tell us about that entrance to the room when we checked in, and when we used it she kind of said we should avoid using it, but it made more sense to bring the dog out that way than to walk her through everyone eating breakfast. So we did, and it worked out well to get the dog out smoothly. The room had a huge bathroom with a big soaking tub, lots of square footage, and a small refrigerator which was great. I don't know what the rooms looked like in other parts of the inn, but after walking around town a bit and in and out of the parking lot, I would venture to say we might have had the best secret room ever. I would want to stay in it again next time I get to go to Gettysburg. It was clean (except for where I needed to move the chair to block the stairway for the puppy...lots of stuff to sweep from under there) and quiet except for during breakfast, and we really liked it. I really liked the flooring that was updated and not carpeted.

The property was better then expected. The restaurant was a little pn the high end but the food was delicious!! The view was amazing and the room had everything we could need and then some. I will be staying there again.

It was clean room. Room feels a little outdated in some ways but it was definitely clean and comfortable.
