"Rocky Top Retreat is incredible!! We were there for a weekend and didn't want to leave. The decor and layout make it feel so cozy, and the location cannot be beat. The hot tub was toasty and provided a beautiful view of the stars. Michael is one of the most considerate and courteous hosts I have dealt with. He made the whole stay go smoothly, and kindly alerted us to some weather that could impact our stay. I hope I am able to stay at Rocky Top again soon! "

"Room was clean. Front desk person at night want really friendly. She wasn't rude just didn't smile. The night shift and day shift girl wee lovely. Breakfast wasn't bad. Muffins wee super fresh. Area felt very safe and a lot of places near by to eat at our shop. "

"We stayed in one of the cabins for two nights at the beginning of March. Cabin was clean and room comfortable. Only two problems. Couldn’t get TV to work and front desk was closed. Fortunately security guard came and got it sorted after speaking to tech guy. The other problem was cabin was freezing when we are at 4:30. We immediately turned on heat but it took to 9:00 the next morning before temperature in the room reached 70 degrees. Which meant the very loud fan ran all night. Given they knew we coming, they could have turned on heat to get the room warm. Cannot speak to any food/amenities as nothing is open in March. Won’t open until April. The front desk person was nice enough but not much help with recommendations for food places. The security guard was very helpful and friendly and suggested several very good restaurants. That was our only interaction with staff. "

"We had a wonderful time. The views were amazing. The rooms were clean and exactly as described. Fransico was very helpful. My only suggestion would be a tv in the bedroom also so if your child goes to sleep first the adults can continue watching tv."
