"This was our first trip to the UP and with 3 kids and a large dog, we don’t travel light. I was a little worried not having a big discount store nearby but all that stress melted away when we arrived and all the little things were already waiting for us- from soap to dog dishes to marshmallows to extra TP, the house was fully stocked. The property has a large completely private yard with plenty of room for running and sitting on the deck or by the fire feels like your own private oasis. It’s very easy to get to several waterfalls from Au Train Falls (go there and play in the falls!) to Pictured Rocks and there’s several nearby roadside parks with sandy beaches to jump in the lake from. And the jetted master tub and master shower were great for easing sore muscles after a long day of exploring. We were all sad when it was time to come home."

"We had a great stay at North Pole in Christmas, MI. The property was very spacious so there was room for everyone, we had 8 total people so this was great to have a lot of room. Everything was very clean and it had everything we needed to have a great stay. The location is very easy to find and there are so many nice beaches nearby to choose from. Munising is just around the corner to the east and, Marquette is within an hour to the west. Au Train kayaking nearby as well, so many cool things to do nearby that we had trouble deciding which things to do during out 3 days / 2 nights here. We all talked about wanting to come back to North Pole VRBO again perhaps next summer and for a longer amount of time!"

"Very nice. Our room was on the lake side and the view was beautiful.Nice sunsets. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Danielle, the host, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was a great communicator and answered all of our questions, including providing spot-on recommendations. The house had all the supplies we might need, comfortable beds, lots of space to spread out, and beautiful views over the lake. This was an ideal location to explore Pictured Rocks and the surrounding towns. We would highly recommend The Pines!"
