Okanagan - Sunshine Beach

10/10 Excellent
"It was a perfect place for family of 4 adults. The place was spotless and lots of towels were provided. The dock was amazing and large enough to spend the entire day out near the water. Access to the beach had lots of stairs but it was manageable. Just pack what you need to bring all at once. We didn’t even turn in the tv as it was super enjoyable. Driveway is steep and a bit awkward. Would recommend slab king down initially into adjoining driveway then pull into the house parking."

Lakefront Retro Style Retreat with Cedar Sauna, central AC, jacuzzi - fits 18ppl

Lakefront Retro Style Retreat with Cedar Sauna, central AC, jacuzzi - fits 18ppl

10/10 Excellent
"The property was as advertised. It's very eclectic and might not fit all groups but it was perfect for us. It is essentially 3 separate units that have adjoining doors through the largest bedrooms. The bedrooms face the water and have great decks. All the kitchens have everything you need, although the retro appliances are smaller than most of us are used to. Our grandkids loved the retro video games and having 1 in each unit meant adults could chat in quiet. The price, while expensive, is consistent with the area and location. It was exceptionally clean even though it's a bit older construction and shows a little wear and tear. The little touches, like record players (and records), games, children's books, and decor made it feel very homey. The hosts were very responsive and communicated as much as necessary. There are a few rules that may seem strict for some people, but we understand as necessary for some septic systems. The only thing missing is an indoor table with enough seating for a large group. We were able to be outside as we had great weather. The beach at the park is a quick 5 minute drive and it was fantastic. Quiet time was very quiet. The only sounds were an occasional goose."

Lakefront Villa w/ Private Beach & Dock fits 14ppl

10/10 Excellent
"Very nice property and great location - the beach access was amazing, and the place was within walking distance of the Christina Lake visitors centre and the local grocery store. The large spacious deck was perfect for family dinners together and there was ample space for just hanging out in the main house - the AC did a good job of keeping the place comfortable even during 30 deg heat. The beach house is a little more rustic and was better suited for the young adults in our group. The kitchen was well equipped and very functional. Christina Lake is a little silty/weedy so I would recommend bringing water shoes; bring some inflatables and fishing rods and you're set!"
