When I first arrived they stated that they didn’t have 2 queen bed rooms available even though I booked this room 2 weeks in advance. Had to give us another option which made things complicated for our family. Terrible staff! So rude when I asked for bedding for the pull out bed. Children in the hot tub so I couldn’t even enjoy that bc of children splashing in the hot tub. Breakfast for 12.95 is outrageous for what they served. It was basically what most hotels give out for free breakfast but way less options. Creepy employees making sexual remarks towards my 15 year old daughter. Never again will I come to this location.

This place is absolutely terrible !!!!! They have bed bugs stay away !!!! They are supposed to give me a refund and now they won’t take my calls . Terrible

Unfortunately I arrived to the property very late because if I’d arrive earlier I would have complained. The room was colder than outside the heat never worked. The hot water was only hot for a 5 minute shower. I found a hair in the sink after I showered. Due to the room number I was unable to find my room for 15 minutes.

Only good rating I would give this hotel would be the bartender - very nice guy. I asked for towels, never did the staff brought them. Once we checked in there were food items inside the fridge from previous guest. The male receptionist was very rude. Felt like he did not want to answer our questions. Lastly, I believe it was housekeeping staff knocked while we were sleeping, barely gave us a chance to open the door, they entered our room offering coffee - very random. Not coming back here. Expected more from a Holiday Inn.

Stayed here for two nights… when I checked in, the staff member checking me in was not friendly at all. Went down for breakfast the next morning. It’s standard continental breakfast except you have to pay for it. We waited at hostess stand for a long time with no one there to help us. I went up to ask the guest checkin if there was a server on staff and she said to just walk in, we did and found not a single table clean to sit at. Returned to hotel at end of the day to park, with two young children it was a NIGHTMARE! Circled the parking lot several times and finally found an opening at the farthest end of the hotel parking lot. Mind you, the parking lot extended beyond what looked like it was still property of the hotel. Hair was in our shower. Although I am familiar with the need for workers and the struggle, this place is NOT recommended to stay especially if you’re looking for hotel standards.

Upon check in I asked for a quiet room. I was told that my room would meet my request. Immediately after entering my room I heard the room next to mine had a young child who was crying. I went back to the front desk and asked if I could move rooms. The front desk moved me to room 220. This room was directly below the HVAC unit. The result was the worse hotel experience ever. I did not sleep and was exhausted the next day. I questioned whether I should request a refund.

Got 2 joining rooms and my mother's bed sheets were dirty as well as my pillow I'm my room covered in lint and hair. They offered me 15 percent off and to change rooms which were on the opposite side of the building and since I was recent diagnosed with sciatica (which manager was told about) or was severely inconvenient and painful for me to have carry all my belongings to the end floor and kitty corner from the room we were in. No one offered to help me carry my things. Since we got to out new rooms which we were told were conjoined but they weren't because the room in between us was closed for maintenance, my mother's tv didn't work. They offered once again to move rooms which we refused management didn't know how to fix it and apparently night time maintenance of a hotel or this size was unheard of. My mother contacted corporate and we were told because we accepted the 15 percent off (before the TV issue) they couldn't give us anything else besides some points which equated to 1 free night, so we can torture ourselves again? Severely disappointed

I specifically booked this hotel to take my grandson on a swim date. I read some reviews where management promised to look into the issue. It was obvious that they did not. The pool was soo cold i could not even get in. Mind you I swim in lake Michigan so I understand what swim water should be like. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and the pool staff was filling the hot tub. They took 2 hours to fill it and the water was cold. We returned the next morning at 915am and staff once again was filling the hot tub with cold water. I spoke to the GM who reported his staff had fixed the issue by turning on the filliment. I assured the GM to please just close the hot tub because his staff seamed to have an honesty concern. The GM went to feel the hot tub water for himself. Its was about 1030 am by now and the filliment had still not heated the water.

Pool was not heated, in fact was ice cold. Which was a little disappointing considering that's one of the reasons we picked this particular hotel. It was a large pool though and the hot tub was perfect. Rooms were nice. Windows on the interior were a little strange. The TV guide was appreciated. No caffeinated coffee in the room but decaf and tea options available. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Certain staff nice other managers are rude stay is nice comfy except for deposits never are returned properly to account over 300 dollars in deposit missing report it to numerous of staff problem never solves other than that it is a nice dinning atmosphere and people were friendly there but need to work on correcting policy's and lake of commutation fixing issues
