The hotel in itself is nice, with modern amenities and thoughtful design. That's all about it. The service is beyond horrible. It's obvious that the hotel has hired cheap labor who hate their jobs and don't want to work there. We had a busy day of travel and arrived at the hotel at 10 pm for checkin, all of us tired and hungry. It took 5 people and 30 mins at the front desk to hand out the room keys. The rooms were not clean - the toilet seat was dirty, and the water bottles had cobwebs on them. We had to call housekeeping to get those fixed and it took another 30 minutes. It took 90 minutes for room service to serve leftover cold food of the day. On top of that, hotel didn't know the concept of room charge, and after agreeing to put the meal on room charge, bugged us 4 times asking for payment while we were having our food - absolutely insulting. On top of that, they had the audacity to argue and justify their logic. Advice to the hotel management - invest in your staff quality and train them. Don't cheap out there.

Best thing about this hotel was the staff. Always willing to help and accomodate. Hotel isnt in the best place however have sound proof, clean rooms and a super comfy bed made my stay excellent. I am a light sleeper and our crew the bar a club on several nights as soon as you got into the lift you could hear absolutely nothing. Would stay again whenever in Chennai.

The only reason I stayed there was that my normal hotel the Taj was booked and this hotel was right opposite so served my purpose as far as location was concerned… the check in staff are ok , but the rest of the staff are more blow hot blow cold … the cleaning staff especially were really non verbal … considering was staying in a suite used to a little more interaction normally … but well maybe it was their off day … a slice of bacon took half an hour … so I am guessing you can understand what I am saying … sometimes there is a valet at other times the guys not there … all very erratic in my opinion … considering it’s part of the accor group thought it would be a little better … wouldn’t really recommend the place

Good location and good amenities in the room, gym etc. Service in the dining area could be better; the staff appear to be busy but take their own time in getting to the guests (at least my experience).
