Exactly what we needed for a home base.

Location was ideal in proximity to all the things Chattanooga has to offer. The main living area was perfect for playing games and enough room for all to navigate about the area.

Great location for ruby falls and incline railway we had great suggestions of restaurants tried ruby sunshine restaurant for breakfast and Scottie’s for dinner it was very good.Thank you for the great hospitality we loved Chattanooga

Excellent choice to enjoy Chattanooga

We traveled to Chattanooga to enjoy the Christmas activities at Rock City, the Tennessee Aquarium and downtown with our family and friends. The location of the home was so convenient to all the attractions with great restaurants and stores very close by. The home comfortable slept four adults, two teenagers, two young children, a toddler and a newborn. The owner was very gracious and quick to respond to questions. The home was well appointed and very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean & comfortable

House has great views over the city & plenty of sleeping options for a large family. It was clean & well stocked with essential items. Teens really enjoyed the games in the basement. Stairs were a little challenging for senior citizens but manageable. Location is great for getting to a variety of events, restaurants & excursions.

Chattanoogan Gem

When we were looking for a quick getaway to Chattanooga, I searched for homes that would allow a 1 night rental & happened on this gem. It is accurately portrayed in its VRBO ad & exceeded our expectations. It’s cleanliness, great design, great view, proximity to downtown & Ruby Falls are just a few of the highlights! Our teens loved the garage fun room—pool table, ping pong & darts—they gave this home 5 stars!!! We will be back for a longer stay in the Spring!

Birthday weekend getaway

The location was great for being close to downtown Chattanooga. After checking in, I didn’t get any more quick responses from the property manager. So for future references, please have a process on how to use the hot tub and the cover needs to be replaced. Besides the little ant issues and water bugs. This property really helped aid our weekend for a good time. Thank you again.

Comfortable, modern, beautiful

This property is lovely. Comfortable, modern, beautiful. My two girls didn't want to leave! The location was absolutely perfect and only minutes away from almost all of our activities. The owners were wonderful and texted us at the start and end of our stay to ensure we had what we needed. The only suggestion I could possibly offer to make the place more perfect is to provide an ironing board and iron and install towel bars in the bathrooms. Even absent those things, the house was perfect for us.

Quick Trip

This property was OK & worked for our needs. We were there just for two nights for a family wedding. The location was good, as it was very close to downtown & Lookout Mountain (site of the wedding). The biggest concern was overall cleanliness. While it looks new and fresh in the online pictures - it could use some attention & a deep clean. Not an unfixable problem, just an honest review.

Great for family

Overall, this was a great house for our group of 7. We had 4 adults and 3 kids from 6-13. The house was clean and functional, and it was really easy to access everything Chattanooga had to offer. The host was communicative and helpful at all times. I would stay with the company again. Our only negative was the hot tub - it was meant for 2 people and very small. That would've been nice to be clear about. Also, having dedicated towels for the hot tub would have helped us a bit along with some kind of mat at the backdoor for coming back in from using it. Regardless, this did not have a negative impact on our stay and we would go back.

Overlook the city

Our first impression was not good as we encountered a cockroach, but only the one the whole 3 night visit. Otherwise it was clean, spacious, and had ample towels. It is on historic Missionary Ridge, which was where part of the big civil war battle in this area took place. The view overlooking the city is nice. Must eat at Sugar's one block away. The only issue w/the property management was when they said they'd have maintenance address the cockroach issue by bringing raid or doing something and they didn't. Thankfully we didn't see any others but as a precaution, since we didn't kill it, did not use the one bathroom the whole visit. Luckily there were 3 other bathrooms to use. We loved the hot tub, had no issues sharing w/the next house as they weren't in it when we wanted it. Neighbor's car was ransacked during our stay, so be sure to keep everything locked up at all times.

Spacious and Convenient Location

Location was GREAT! Within a few minutes of most of the attractions that we came to see! Very spacious and clean! The downfall was that the washer machine continuously leaked water without being used so we weren't able to wash clothes and the upstairs shower curtain could be replaced as it had dirt/mold at the bottom of it. Aside from those issues, we had a great stay!

Chatanooga family vacation

The house was clean and spacious. Overall liked the property, but neighbor's said their car was robbed at night when we were there. The games in the garage were in need of some repair, but still usable and had fun with that. The air conditioning worked VERY well. Needed to keep the main floor very cold so that 2nd floor not too hot. Close to Lookout mountain and about 40 minute drive to white water rafting.

Second Time Around

We enjoyed our time in Chattanooga and at Missionary Ridge. It is a beautiful, well-kept property. The owners were easy to reach and handled an issue with another renter parking in our space timely and seamlessly. I was disappointed to find no closet access in the master bedroom and the toilet paper dispenser broken. I do recommend ironing in advance or bringing a board and iron, as none are available at the property. All in all, this is a great property for a short-term rental.

Perfect for our usage!

This is a great property with plenty of room for a group to stay together. We selected this because we were visiting family nearby and wanted to provide a larger meeting place for the extended family to gather (since lots of houses in this area are on the smaller size). This place gave us room to entertain the entire family and for everyone to be comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay. Pros: * Owner communication: we had no need for any support from the owners during our stay. The check in/check out process was seamless. There was no clumsy key hiding/storing (everything is on a code lock). Check in/check out instructions were provided at perfect timing. * Size: We were able to host the extended family in the living area and kitchen (~10ppl) comfortably. There is plenty of room to move around. We found the size to be exactly what we expected from the pictures. * Kitchen/Laundry services are great. There is enough kitchen equipment to get you started with just about anything (including a crock pot). * Hot Tub! I forgot if this was originally part of the listing and no one had time to go soak, but there is a hot tub off of the back. This might be something that isn't mentioned in the listing so bring swim trunks. * No shortage of TVs. There is only one room (upstairs bedroom) that is without a TV (at the time of this review). If your group has a desire to watch TV, they won't be disappointed. There is even one in the garage. * Convenient location: This place is right between east ridge and downtown Chatt. There is easy access to the freeway as well. The road noise is a little higher than I would have liked, but I also sleep with the windows open (most of the time). Cons: * One of the big draws for our group was the ping pong table and pool table, featured in the garage. While they are usable, they are not in a good state of repair (at the time of this writing). The ping pong table has a large chunk that is broken (forming a large crack) and while it is still usable, we hesitated to move it from its location against the wall for fear of damaging it. The pool table struggled with being anywhere close to level. While this makes for some interesting behavior on shots, it doesn't lend itself to predictability. We only found one usable stick as well. To be fair, it is likely that keeping this type of a equipment (ping pong & pool tables) up in a VRBO is a challenge, given the wide variety of vacationers.

Clean and Modern House, but needs attention

We enjoyed our stay overall, but the property has become pretty run down from guests. Lots of scuffs on the walls, toilet paper holder ripped off the bathroom wall, and the kitchen table leg was not sturdy. It seems like the owner should check-in on the house more frequently. Also, we were surprised by the lack of basic kitchen supplies. There were no wine glasses or regular glasses-only mason jars and coffee cups. No regular frying pan-we bought one and left it for the next guests. Coffee pot was missing from the coffee maker. If you are paying that much for a property per night, these are things that guests expect. :(

Clean and Modern House

It was great to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the house and the house was clean. -The house was short on some basic kitchen items like regular glasses, wine glasses, a normal size frying pan, and dish towels. We ended up buying a frying pan and left it for the next guest. The kitchen was a gorgeous but we working missing some key items to utilize the space. -Also, looks some guests have done quiet a bit of wear and tear on the walls and furniture. Dented kitchen trash can, wobbling kitchen table, and scuffs all over walls.
