"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

Significant road noise in main bedrooms but sofa beds in quiet air conditioned living room. Very spacious house and garden. Owner was very attentive. "Naomi's gite in Montreal was perfect for my needs and Naomi was kind and accommodating throughout my stay. The house in which the gite is located is on the highway into Montreal but it is not noisy and I was able to leave the windows open at night and not be bothered by traffic sounds. The gite is spacious and well-equipped; Naomi has outfitted the kitchen to enable guests to do their own cooking. The village of Montreal is tres petite and charming, but has no grocery store to speak of, so...

The owner made many thoughtful changes when they renovated the house - lights that turn on and off automatically , well appointed and stocked kitchen , comfortable bedding , clean bathrooms , great shower pressure and plumbing , excellent doors and windows - the list goes on and on . The location is perfect (just steps away from local shops), the house is breezy and cool, rooms spacious and clean, view from the house sublime, garden a perfect place to play (there are a lot of games for children), and the hosts were a dream. "Quirky property - well positioned for sightseeing in pretty rural location. Easy access to Avallon for shopping and the A6. Generally well equipped but no top sheets were provided to replace duvets during the heat wave we experienced. Also very surprised to find that there were no cushions for the plastic patio chairs. Unfortunately the owner was on holiday during our stay and the caretaker didn't speak English otherwise some of these problems might have been resolved. Access to the patio is...
