« It was not great the first day, the carpet was so dirty and it just bought the general feeling down. « Got to admit I was a bit dubious upon booking the room as it is a university campus but after reading the reviews felt better about it. The staff at reception were welcoming and helpful, especially when we had no towels in the room, they made sure the towels were in the room ready upon our return. The room is basic but clean and presentable, somewhere to put your head down and shower. It’s also as the reviews say very easy to get to and from Wembley stadium. »

« Roseleigh Cottage is a lovely little house. It is ideally situated in central Cookham a stones throw from the Thames tow path and close to a range of pubs and other places to eat. "The location of this hotel is very convenient if you need a room near LHR Airport; it is just one metro stop from Terminal 3 to Hatton Cross station— simply cross the road, and you are there. Despite the fact that this hotel is so close to the airport and you can see the planes flying overhead, our room was very quiet and we didn't hear any noise. The room was pleasant, and the bed had a very good mattress and pillows, we felt comfortable. A small fridge is provided, as well as a water kettle to make coffee and tea— something we really appreciated. The breakfast was good, with a wide international selection. The lady at the reception was very friendly, and it was also great that we could keep the room until noon on the day of departure and leave our luggage at the hotel until we headed to the airport in the evening. As an improvement for this hotel, it would be nice to have complimentary bottles of water or a carafe of drinkingwater in the room. When the room was cleaned, our bed was made, but the bathroom wasn't done. At check-in, the computer system turned out to be down, and we had to wait a long time before we could get a room, this can happen, however be offered a glass of water in this situation would have been appreciated."
