The hotel is desperate for a refurbishment, it’s a lovely old property with charm and character, but beyond the lobby the state of repair is poor, the treatment rooms are very shabby, the pools also are in need or renovation. Breakfast choices are rather poor, in Italy one expects much better breakfast. Often they ran out of things at breakfast and fruit choices are very limited and under ripe. It’s not a cheap hotel by any means, so value for money isn’t great atm. Shame. Could have been much better.

The Ca'Sagredo was great. The location on the Grand Canal was particulalry nice. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. The staff was uniformly frtiedly and helpful.
