The location was great for us. We did several easy out-of-the-city drives, as well as more local short trips. We stayed here to attend a concert at US Bank stadium, and it was an easy 20 minute walk. The neighborhood is not upscale, and we did have to walk over some drug paraphernalia and other unpleasantness. However, we never felt unsafe, including walking back from the stadium at midnight. The space was exactly what we were looking for. It accommodated our family and was close enough to where we needed to go. The area was maybe sketchy if you have never stayed downtown, but we found it to feel pretty safe. I read about people hearing sirens but it wasn't any different than any other places I stayed.
