We really enjoyed our stay here. Marina and Hartmut were friendly hosts and the room in which we stayed was comfortable and spacious.
We enjoyed an evening meal in the adjoining restaurant also run by the owners and would certainly recommend it as well!

Gord and Todd have designed their B&B rooms on a large, beautifully landscaped lot, and Todd had even built much of the furniture in the rooms. We had our breakfast outside on the patio, overlooking the flowers, fruit trees and vegetable gardens, and some of our breakfast came from those gardens. It was exactly what we wanted.

This is the area we have come to visit quite often in recent years. We used to stay at B&Bs. But this time none was available. So we choose this hotel for it looked quite nice on the web. Our personal experience at the hotel, however, exceeded our expectation. The suite was spacious. It offered a view of the river. The lounge had a classic deco. Above all, the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We had all our meals at the Arlington Bar and Grill across the street. It had a...

On the outside it looks like the style of a older motel. Unlocked the door, both myself and the driver were amazed how wonderful it was inside.
So clean and well taken care of.
Double queen bed in a very large room. The usual fridge, TV coffee maker with the fixing.
Bed was so comfortable, it was easy to fall asleep.
The bathroom was tiny. Loved the shower, so relaxing.
Was greeted by a very nice and welcoming couple.
Would be great for the summer months too as the have a large cordoned off are...

We have stayed at the Ram's Head 3 times over the last 5 years and it has been fantastic every time! Cozy, clean, welcoming host, with a great common room and breakfast! Great location to the town and mountain bike trails!

Amazing stay. I was in Castlegar for business and drove out here late to get a good nights rest. I was lost in the pitch black and called the hotel. The service I received was amazing. He made sure I arrived at the hotel and parked my vehicle safely for me so I did not have to walk alone in the dark. My room was 5 star. I stay in many hotels for work and this is top notch. Great hotel and even better hospitality. I changed my reservation at a different place in Castlegar next week just to...

Staff are incredibly kind and cater to people's individual needs. Lots of art to look at in this cozy, unique space. Best prices for a night or weeks' stay in the immediate area. Charming small town location, set off of the highway. General store and bakery next door to hotel. Good family vibe!

What a great little hotel!! Perfect location for walking around the downtown area. Very clean and well maintained. The owners are very nice and do all they can to ensure you have a great stay.
Just a note that it is a bit of a climb up the stairs to the front door if you don't get one of the alley parking stalls. They will cover your meter if you park out front.
Thanks for the enjoyable weekend away :)
