Beautiful location , lovely views , double terrace , well equipped , spacious , air con , dishwasher , washing machine . There was no cleaning of the property during our 10 day stay. We were given clean sheets and towels once . It would have been helpful to know this is what happened in advance .

The property is very dated, bedroom furniture was extremely old with squeaky beds & couch, broken tiles everywhere on floors throughout the bedroom & ensuite bathroom floors and walls, you need shoes on at all times in the bedroom due to broken tiles and cracks etc. We booked a family room for the 3 of us, when we checked in there were only 2 single beds, no spare pillows, 2 towels and 1 toilet roll for 3 people. I went to phone reception from the room to ask for additional towels, toilet paper & pillows etc but the phone in the bedroom did not work. The sliding door onto the balcony was extremely difficult to open and close, when repairing the phone, we asked the maintenance man to put some oil on the door but he said it works and wouldn’t try anything to improve it, even though it was practically impossible to use it. All this was very very poor, especially for a high standard hotel brand such as Riu, who charged a lot for the rooms at this hotel. It was an all inclusive hotel (food & drink) so the price to say was not cheap! The buffet food for dinner was good, we availed of the international menu, the breakfast was ok but there was no bacon which was rather unusual. Overall, we did not feel we got value for money here, in fact it feels like a 1 or 2 star stay for the price of a 4 star property, the whole building needs decorating, some of the walls outside look as if it was an unused building, bedrooms need updating and new furniture

The hot tubs were not functioning properly Treatments were not worth the costs paid for and overpriced compared to other hotel facilities prices

the apartments are right next to the beach which is reached either by about 20 or 30 steps or a sloped pathway at the back of the property along the beach there are many restaurants and bars with a variety of prices and cuisines across a nearby road and up a steep set of stairs or slope there is a spar supermarket which has fresh meat and fish vegetables fruit and soft and alcholick drinks
