"Very friendly staff, especially the young girl at the front desk, I wish I knew her name so I could be specific, but, she told me she was from the Riverside area, if that helps. She has darkish brown hair. Very sweet & attentive, I hope she regularly gets the recognition she deserves, please let her know how good of a job she’s doing!! Whole hotel was very clean & orderly, also the rooms! I was also able to bring 2 of my dogs :) The only complaint I have is the beds were sorta hard & uncomfy & the pillows weren’t very comfy either, but, everything was great other than that, I still give 5 stars 🌟 I would stay here again."

"This is a very nice hotel with spectacular views. It’s slightly dated, but that is also what gives this hotel its charm. You can tell it’s been around for awhile and has a lot of history. The dinner was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and the fireplace in the lobby was wonderful. My only complaint is there was a wedding taking place when we stayed, and for the most part, it was fine. However, around 1:00am, guests from the wedding brought the party back to their room, which was right next door to our room, and were loud and didn’t quiet down until well after 3:30am. That is not any fault of the hotel, just rude, noisy guests not considering there are people sleeping in the next room. The hotel offers plenty of places to socialize, away from the rooms, that could’ve been an option. "

"Clean, great price and breakfast included. We stayed during WVU graduation weekend and this was the only hotel in the area that did not raise the prices to over $400/night. Very happy with my stay and the staff was friendly and helpful. "
