Used the hotel as a base to go in and out of NYC for a few days. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered a typical hotel breakfast (although get to breakfast early as it is often very busy and seating is limited). I just loved this place! So charming! Clean and welcoming! Everything walkable : metro stations, restaurants. Such a beautiful area! Parking is so easy to find. I parked my car all week with no problem, since I was using public transportation.

My son and I were “stuck” in NYC for 2 nights due to the global internet fiasco. With literally no reasonably priced rooms with more than 1 bed, I used filters to drill down and found Pod. What a cool place!!! The location could not be better for the walking tourist, and the concept is genius. What a fantastic use of space and a focus on cleanliness. If I ever find myself in NYC, I won’t be looking for a place to stay, I’ll be staying at Pod.

Concert at pier 17 rooftop.
Breakfast at Gemini diner on 2nd. Nice walk. Blueberry pancakes.
