"Location is everything!"

"Easy parking and no issues with security. The room I got is a double queen suite. One bed in a separate room and the other bed is right next to the door and when you open the blinds/curtain, its right next to the laundry room or some type of storage. Not a very pleasant view, you have to keep the curtains closed. I picked this location since theyre pet friendly (no pet fees). But other than that, the room is pretty clean. You can smell the bleach when they clean the room."

"The stay was disappointing overall due to basic cleanliness and preparation issues. The room appeared unfinished, with areas that clearly needed fresh paint, which made the space feel neglected rather than maintained. Upon arrival, there were not enough towels provided for two guests, which is a simple detail that should be standard. More concerning was the lack of proper cleaning. There was leftover trash from previous guests found behind the mattress, which raises questions about how thoroughly the room is cleaned between stays. That’s not something guests should have to deal with. "

"The property is currently under renovations however it is safe and you appreciate that they are taking care of the building and you can still enjoy the beautiful common areas and the beach is right across the street to walk too so it doesn’t get any better than that. We enjoyed our stay very much, check in was a little delayed but not a big deal. "

"If you want a nice and serene place to stay in Carlsbad this is the place. It's nice to have a nice, secure place to yourself to wind done at night. And it was so close to the beach and had a wagon with chairs and towels to use. Jim was a very great host."

"We stayed right across from the beach, which was fantastic. Lots of fit people here in Carlsbad also visited Delmar, which isn’t too far away. The town is extremely killing and the people are very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Took advantage of the outdoor fire pit with morning, coffee, and evening wind down. Price was reasonable for April."
