"Nice, quiet spot to come back to while exploring Carlsbad Caverns. It was great to be able to do our laundry right at the house while relaxing. House is small, but didn't feel it, and had everything we needed. Also, in a nice quiet neighborhood, with a pretty church opposite. Donny, the host, checked in via text frequently to make sure everything was going well. Thank you."

"We set out on a road trip with my elderly in-laws, and Carlsbad was our second stop on our adventure. The home was great in accommodating both of them. (Mother-in-law scoots her feet real bad when in house shoes, so the tile floor was a bonus.) The shower in the master was also very user friendly for them."

"We booked this home to stay in Artesia while we visited with family. The house is very clean and has everything you would need for your stay. The area is located in the middle of an orchard and the mornings and evenings are very relaxing and peaceful sitting in the screened in porch. Very satisfied with everything available at this home. "If you are looking to visit the National Park and other things in the area this was a great house and location. It is the desert so nothing is close, but this was centrally located for everything we did. And, we loved that it was an older home."

"We enjoyed the stay immensely at La Cueva! The three bedrooms were perfect for our family of five. It allowed the kids space to spread out and relax after a long drive to Carlsbad, as well as after some long days visiting both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mtns NPs. The proximity was great for both. The home perfect for preparing meals as well, with everything needed on hand. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
