We got 5 feet of snow!!

"The most they had received in 10 years, said the locals. Yes we were there for the March 2024 storms and the forecast were accurate. Almost 61 inches measured in Nederland. We had a great time though and our teens learned what it really means to shovel snow. Briggite was accommodating, and kind the whole way through."

Overall Amazing Stay!

"It was entirely my fault for not reading the glamping description closely, but showers are SHORT. 1-2 min for me since I like hot showers, but maybe 5 min for someone else. I really wished they had a tankless water heater... Another thing to watch out for is the steep hill. Usually not a problem most days but on days of snow and ice, there may be difficulty getting to the place. Was otherwise very enjoyable. Owner was very responsive to needs and neighbors were very nice and helpful. Grading notes: -1 star removed from check-in process as it was not ready on arrival, but this was rapidly remedied. -Accuracy of online description: while everything was technically there, the wall of text was like reading through a contract... and who does that? Would be nice to have shortcomings frankly listed. -Location would get a 1 star deduction due to steep hill, but the nice neighbors helping out added the extra star back. -Property Manager: would give extra stars above and beyond the max if possible as she was very helpful, reasonable, and went above and beyond what I would normally expect."

Weekend ski trip

"My son and I were on a ski race trip at Eldora. The cabin is just 15 minutes from the mountain, which worked great for us! The cabin is basically a studio with a futon and sleeps two. Great for a short stay visiting Eldora!"

Minutes to premier hiking and scenic mountain towns

Owl Chalet

"It was the perfect home for our family. All the positive feed backs on the house was on point. There’s not a negative thing about it. It was clean and beautiful! It was cosy and inviting. After a long day of skiing, we cold hide away and cook or we could go across the street for pizzas and drinks. The locals were super friendly and nice. There are also many other restaurants, breweries/distilleries and grocery store only 8 minutes away. Clara, thank you for hosting us! You get 5 stars alone!"

Great place for a remote getaway

"Loved the cabin and the local trails. Very isolated and quiet. Stars were beautiful at night and saw lots of wildlife. We will be back one day! Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your lovely cabin."
