"We booked Lopsean for my 50th birthday celebration. Once we arrived on Oct. 23rd we had initially booked the ocean view room. Walked inside the room smelled moldy. So we instantly upgraded to a swim out for a additional cost. The swim out room smelled moldy and some small drain insects flying. After reporting issue to management, we were able to get a instant upgrade to "unique status" another swim out room. Our "new room came with a butler and the room was so clean, fresh smell and more modern. Overall, our vacation at Lopsean turned out to be the best choice ever. We had a good time, staff are nice and friendly, the Mediterrean and French Restaurants were my favorites. The coffee shop was always a joy.I would definitely recommend Lopsean to my friends and family. I will be back soon. "

"Resort was excellent. Staff were good. The only issue I had was that the in room mini bar was never restocked. We had 2 rooms. I had to call at 2 different times because multiple days so no refills. "

"The front desk staff couldn't be any more friendly and accommodating. The villa was so spacious and extremely clean in every aspect. Fabulous. If I had to complain about something it would be the walk from guest parking to the building. Across grass. A few paved or shell paths are very much needed. Also, the parking lot for guest parking is full of deep potholes. Lastly, there is a lack of lighting along the drive from the road to the hotel."

"We stayed in a swim up on the El Beso side, which was amazing! The staff were remarkably friendly and accommodating in every aspect but our "concierge" Carlos Enrique was especially helpful in arranging our dinner reservations and tending to any other needs we had. The resort is huge and well maintained with so many options for activities. I read some negative reviews before we arrived and I honestly can't imagine who would have anything negative to say - we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Carlos even checked in to see that we arrived home to Canada safely. Highly recommend this resort! "
