We had a wonderful stay at Arpaiu – Odeyo Sas in Manarola. Our room was charming, clean, and minimalist, with a window overlooking the south side of the marina from high above the village. One of our favorite memories was sleeping with the window open and listening to the waves crash against the rocks below—it was incredibly peaceful and almost meditative.
Upstairs, there is a comfortable common area with Nespresso available 24/7 and an awesome outdoor deck with spectacular views of the cliffs and coastline.
One important tip: pay close attention to the owner’s directions when arriving from the train tunnel! There is a much easier ramp leading up to the hotel. We saw other guests following Google Maps and struggling up the stairs with their luggage—not a fun way to arrive!
Tatyana, the house staff, was wonderful. She prepared a delicious breakfast for us on our first morning and even took care of our dirty laundry for a very reasonable fee, which was especially appreciated while traveling.
The location is also very convenient for quickly accessing the train and exploring the other Cinque Terre villages.
Overall, Arpaiu was a wonderful and memorable stay. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Manarola.

We lost one whole hour because they sent us to a different location. At the end, after a lot of insisting on our part, they gave us the address we booked but a different, much smaller room. 😡

Property was as describe, view was perfect, easy to find.
Very clean
AC wasn’t the best, however, we visited from the US so our AC is very cold.
We never saw the owners, they left check-in instructions. They were semi- responsive già whatsapp.
Bed is a very firm mattess.
