The western exposure ensures you will get all the Florida Sun that you want and need. Relax in the totally screened lanai, or in the pool and watch the sunsets. The home has just been remodeled with an open floor plan. New kitchen with a ten foot long island. Three new spa inspired bathrooms with custom tile and light mirrors. Four televisions including a 75 inch one in the great room. New full size washer/dryer inside the home. The competition size pool table is another one of our added features with a large television hanging on a side wall. Shoot pool and watch your favorite sport! This well stocked home will surely meet your every need. The new Lanai has custom pavers, and an oversized dining table under the lanai roof with two ceiling fans. The sparkling heated pool is waiting for you, warm and ready all year round. Our home is located on a direct access canal, no bridge limiting your boat size to the river and Gulf of Mexico. We are located on a cul-de-sac in a very quiet neighborhood with bike lanes in the most desirable area of Cape Coral. Try out one of the four bikes for a quiet morning ride, or a little tour after dinner. If you prefer the water, we have two kayaks for you to explore in. For the boaters, there is a long straight dock to tie up at, and a Captain's walk around the electric boat lift. If you want to fish you can step on the dock and wet a line. A Solo wood burning stove adds to the experience for an evening fire. Sailing or motoring from the dock, the expanse of the river is 5 minutes at idle speed. When the river opens up, our playground starts, with your choice of craft, boat, canoe, kayak or paddle board. This is an amazing oasis with solitude in the middle of a magnificent neighborhood! It's not unusual for manatees, dolphin, snook, tarpon, mangrove snappers and countless other species to swim right along your dock! Bald Eagles perch nearby, keeping an eye out for an easy fish lunch. Once your boat is up to speed, Sanibel Island beckons just 20 minutes away or 30 min by car. There, you can enjoy beautiful beaches, the Sanibel lighthouse and some of the best shelling in the world. Get there early and you'll find the shells that have become exposed from the previous tide, truly amazing finds. Bring the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella that we have waiting for you to set up a relaxing day at the beach! Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve is there for exploring nature. On the "near side" of Sanibel, Ding Darling has an amazing display of waterfowl and biodiversity. Keep traveling north and you'll find more adventures awaiting on Captiva Island and beyond! There are many things to do in our area. Great restaurants include Cuban, Peruvian, Indian cuisines, and of course local seafood at many places. The nightlife in South Cape Coral is fantastic with live music and dancing, a rum distillery to tour and breweries. Sports enthusiasts can go to the Boston Red Socks and Minnesota Twins spring training baseball only 20 minutes away. Golf Digest reports that there are 88 golf courses in a 15 mile radius of the home. Take a charter fishing trip off shore or fish in-shore for tarpon, snook, redfish, sharks and other species. Local catches include a 612 pound Swordfish and an eight foot, 700 pound grouper. For those who like to shop, the Miromar Outlet mall is 15 miles away with over 140 stores catering to every style. For a wild day trip, take the high speed catamaran to Key West. There are ten fruit farms for you to pick oranges, mangoes, and other tropical fruits. Es ist für ein Ferienhaus äusserst modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig am Ende der Straße in einer Sackgasse gelegen. Der nächste Supermarkt (Publixx) ist 5 min. mit dem Auto. Die Garage des Hauses ist nicht nutzbar. Das macht aber nichts, denn das Mietauto kann problemlos draußen stehen. Das Haus liegt direkt am Kanal und hat einen eigenen Bootsanleger. Von dort ist man sehr schnell mit dem Boot auf dem Hauptfluss. Das Haus verfügt auch über zwei Kanus, die als Mieter benutzt werden dürfen. Die Kommunikation mit der Verwaltung war zu jeder Zeit super. Gerade am Anfang, wenn man viele Fragen hatte, wurde man sehr gut betreut. Der Pool ist salzhaltig. Leider funktionierte der Ventilator draußen nicht, so dass es mitunter sehr heiß zum Essen dort war. Wir hätten uns gefreut, wenn wir gewusst hätten, wann die Poolreinigung erfolgt. Vielleicht könnte man dies für die Gäste noch als Information weitergeben bei Anreise.Schön wäre noch eine Aussendusche gewesen. Each bedroom has a bathroom, kitchen has all you need, the pool is so pretty and it's right on the canal! We even saw a dolphin right from the dock! There were bikes and kayaks, but we didn't use them. There is a pool table in the house which we enjoyed! Everything we needed, the house had - from sand chairs to a pizza baking pan! Location was perfect, as we rented a boat and we were able to moor it along the canal during our stay. Honestly, we did not want to leave. The house is very comfortable - - probably the best VRBO we've ever rented. Don was also very helpful and responsive with any questions or needs we had. Die Ausstattung ist wie in der Beschreibung angegeben vorhanden. Die 3 Bäder, die Küche, der Billardtisch usw. waren einfach toll. Mit den beiden Kajaks und den Fahrrädern konnten wir die nähere Umgebung gut erkunden. Für uns war das Highlight der Pool. Durch den Screen (Mückenschutzgitter um den Pool) blieben wir weitesgehend von lästigen Stechmücken und sonstigem Ungeziefer verschont. Was wir nicht so toll fanden : das laute Brummen im Schlafzimmer mit den beiden Einzelbetten. Direkt an der Außenwand dieses Zimmers steht ein Teil der Klimaanlage welches ununterbrochen arbeitet und somit ein dauerhaftes Brummen erzeugt. Dies empfanden wir als sehr störend! Dies ist unsere subjektive Meinung und kann jemand der vielleicht nicht so Lärmempfindlich ist auch nicht stören. Don der Hausverwalter war im Vorfeld und auch während unseres Aufenthalts immer zu erreichen. Auf unsere Fragen wurden innerhalb kürzester Zeit geantwortet, dies ist nicht selbstverständlich. Vielen lieben Dank an Don und die Hausbesitzer für die tolle Zeit die wir in diesem wunderbaren Haus verbringen durften. ##### Tanja B. Séjour de 7 nuits en août 2024 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Janina H. 16 août 2024 Points faibles : Propreté #### Unterkunft Cape Coral Florida Wir haben dieses Haus auf Grund der Bewertungen gemietet und sind freudiger Erwartung in dieses Haus gekommen, mussten aber leider feststellen das, dass Haus nicht richtig sauber war. Offene Soßen im Kühlschrank, verreister Gefrierschrank (Schublade nur sehr schwer zu öffnen) dreckige Toiletten, dreckige Bettwäsche und ein sandiger, nicht saubere und nicht nutzbarer Pool. Zudem gab es ein Kakerlaken Problem. Wir haben den Hausverwalter über alles informiert. Er gab uns keine Lösungen und behauptete er wäre mehrfach vor Ort gewesen und wir würden uns alles ausdenken, da alles Inordung wäre. Auch ein Kakerlakenproblem gäbe es nicht, die Kakerlaken wären nur dort weil es einen Sturm gab und das Wasser aus dem Kanal höher stand als üblich, auf Grund dessen würden die Tiere versuchen ins Haus zukommen. Leider war Don nie in unserer Anwesenheit vor Ort. Wir haben alles mit Bilder festgehalten. Zudem mussten wir feststellen das jemand im Haus war als wir nicht vorort waren. Wir sind auf Grund der Probleme frühzeitig abgereist. Danach hat Don (der Hausverwalter) uns gegenüber Drohungen ausgesprochen. Sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt, wir waren wirklich sehr entäuscht und schockiert. ##### Janina H.
