"We stayed at the Broome Park Hotel for a couple of nights and enjoyed it very much. The staff at reception were very good but there seemed to be a lack of staff in the dining/bar area which meant that the bar was quite often unmanned for long periods of time. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms on the second floor, unless you are pretty fit ask for a room on the first floor as the stairs to the upper floor was very daunting as they were so steep. It was a lovely room with amazing...

"The hotel and grounds are beautiful, I think our room had recently been refurbished. Our room was near the top of the house, and just a word of warning, if you are less mobile there is no lift. However it wasn't an issue for us. Whilst the restaurant menu promises a lot the actual quality wasn't great. The staff were very friendly and attentive and I could imagine having a great chat with them if we had more time "
