I liked the accommodation is staffed throughout day and night, and that you can leave your key there if you want to so you don’t need to worry about losing it when going out partying or to the beach. Staff was kind and the area is pretty convenient between beaches in Ipanema & Copabana. They changed towels everyday which I wasn’t expecting and thought was nice.

The standard room have a bad view upon arrival I upgraded with an ocean view, I have the best view ever. The picture when I book the rooms doesn’t look good but I check the review and all were very good. My recommendation to the hotel is to update the pictures in the rooms.

At first look. The property from the outside was very deceptive to the gem that was inside. The lobby staff were very helpful and accommodating. I arrived a little early but they offered to hold my luggage in a safe location until my room was ready while i walked around the surrounding area.( i did not know until later that for them to do that,it came at a cost) I felt safe and secure in the hotel. Cameras on every floor and covering every entrance and exit. My room was perfect for me. The view was city view so i didnt expect much. The bathroom had one of the best shower head ive ever felt. I didnt use the sauna. I was not experienced enough to use it. But knowing i had one was a plus. A toilet with a bidet. At least that is what i thought it was. Some hose contraption connected to the toilet. The room smelled of vanilla and the cleaning staff never disappointed. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit.

The best feature that the hotel has is location. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful . However , the rooms had very bad stained towels and sheets . The AC unit was old that it didn’t work properly.

The ocean view suite is simply amazing. The sweeping, unobstructed views of sunrises over Copacabana can be experienced everyday from the room’s large balcony. You can sense the energy of the runners and surfers calling you to join in. Emiliano Rio is located just beyond Posto 5 and is a good dividing marker for my runs to Leme and Leblon. The staff including those attending the front desk and concierge, the Emile restaurant, the spa and the lounge on the rooftop are accommodating in every way. Just ask, and they will find a way to make your request happen. I appreciated the attentiveness of the housekeeping staff who checked in throughout the day to ensure the suite remained organized and fresh. There’s a tasty treat brought in each afternoon. It’s just the right portion to energize you enough until dinner. I used the laundry service twice during my stay, and they did an outstanding job. They returned each laundered item perfectly wrapped and presented as if new. Be sure to check out the massage packages. I opted for the 90 minute session which started out with a foot massage and ended with a cup of tea, a perfect end for our bike ride up Corcovado. Emile’s chef is setting a new restaurant experience standard. by choosing a companion of select spices for each selection. Don’t miss the lobster pasta. I ordered it twice. Over the years, I have been a guest at other five star hotels in Copacabana and Ipanema. I recommend everyone choose Emiliano Rio, a true gem.
