Motel San Diego has everything you need for convenient stay in SD! Convenient location in PB, close to the freeway so it makes a great center point to visit all other SD neighborhoods. Nothing fancy but for those of us who don’t need all the frills, it’s got all you need! Price is great, and a major plus that they don’t charge for dogs to stay too. :)

Great guest services

Staff were excellent and all were attentive and friendly and the room was clean. The location was central and wasy walking distance to many areas, however it was very noisy and we had views of a brick wall. While restaurants were close by there was no restaurant on site which would have been beneficial.

Such a gem! Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved that they had beach gear to borrow- we took advantage of that every day of our stay with the beach being walkable distance. The only thing that was negative was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom drains. They explained there was sometimes a backup issue due to the property being so close to the ocean- and did what they could to fix the issue but it was super bad. I’m not that squeamish and gagged multiple times. Though lessened after they cleaned the drains, the smell stayed the rest of our stay which was a big bummer!
