Top Callao Hotel Reviews

Hampton Inn by Hilton Lexington Park

8/10 Good

"Quick overnight for a Halloween wedding. Comfortable place to crash. Clean. Staff were excellent."

Island Inn & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff members were attentive and friendly. The nature and the view from the windows are wonderful. The room amenities need some cosmetic touch-ups and minor repairs, such as the blinds or a missing light bulb on the balcony. I would rate the breakfast as 3 out of 5."

Relax & Renew in a WATERFRONT Cottage , private pier, kayaks, fishing, wineries.

8/10 Good

"We stayed at this waterfront house at Judith Sound from October 9–13 with our family of four and our hound dog. We enjoyed spending time outdoors, kayaking, fishing, playing darts, and kicking around a soccer ball. We spent about 4–6 hours each day enjoying the outdoor activities. Unfortunately, we never managed to catch a fish! The weather was beautiful on our first day, rainy for two days, and then cleared up for another lovely day.Our biggest concern was the number of large spiders around the exterior of the house, particularly near the entrances, as well as downstairs. This was something we found pretty uncomfortable during our stay.We also had an issue checking in because the keypad was dead. We had been told the house would be left unlocked, but it was locked when we arrived. Thankfully, we were able to contact the owner, who provided us with the lockbox code so we could access the spare keys.A few things to note for future guests: there were no laundry detergent pods or dishwasher detergent pods provided, so bring your own. There were also no extra trash bags. Only one bag was available, which was barely enough for our stay, and we would have needed more had we stayed another day.Overall, we enjoyed spending time together as a family and making the most of the waterfront location. With better management of the spider issue, a smoother check-in process, and a few additional basic supplies, the stay could have been even better."

"Heron's Nest" Charming Tiny House on Chesapeake Bay-Boat Launch/Slip Included

10/10 Excellent

"Very cozy cottage in a very quiet marina. Great place to get away and just decompress. Hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming, the cottage was exceptionally clean. A couple small towns close by have all amenities you could reasonably hope for within striking distance. Thank you!"

Extended Stay America Select Suites Lexington Park Pax River

10/10 Excellent

"This is an older hotel that really hasn't kept up to today's expectations for the average hotel guest. But, for the price, I got exactly what I expected, that being a clean room, a place to bathe, a small kitchenette and a place to sleep. The staff was friendly & helpful. For those giving bad reviews for this place, I'd only remind them that this was by far, the cheapest place around. I only paid $64 per night, so I think I got a good deal."

Private Pier, Main+Guest House | Luxe Waterfront Home | Bay Estate by AvantStay

8/10 Good

"The Bay Estate is an absolute gorgeous property. However, host was not good at communicating and CLEANING CREWS NEED TO DO BETTER JOB!We had 11 mo old and 16 mo old babies with us; on day one, crawling and walking on the floors turned their knees/feet brown; the floors need a good mopping. The grill/sink and outdoor area was filthy, sent pictures to host, no remedy. The conservatory waterfall was not operating; asked if it could be turned on, no response. Plants in conservatory in desperate need of water and dead leaves need to be cleaned up. There is a steady drip in pipe in conservatory. Told host, no remedy. We couldn't locate a carafe for drip Cuisinart coffee maker. Host said they would check but we didn't hear back. When we arrived on Monday, 7/20, the 3 trash bins by the gate were full, when departing on Friday 7/24, the 3 bins were still full. We reached out to host asking what we were supposed to do with garbage, they stated garbage pickup is Friday and they would be back in touch on what we needed to do if they weren't empty Friday when we checked out. We did not hear from them so we left bags by bins. There were no kayaks on property as stated in information; if you are not going to provide kayaks, take them off your information. We replaced batteries in 2 of the tv remotes.THE BAY ESTATE IS A BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY (kitchen appliances are high quality, enormous kitchen table is a huge plus for large groups). Issues we had can be easily remedied."
