"We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!"

"The communication with the home owners (Debbie, Uzma) was excellent throughout. That allowed us to feel more at ease from the very start. All of us enjoyed the close proximity to the water along with the generous availability of the kayaks. We spent several hours touring the nearby coves and taking in all the sights and sounds. When it was too warm at certain points of the day, we were able to stretch out and enjoy the living room area that allowed us to still take in all the views of the river. The kitchen and the home were well supplied with all the necessary items that one could ask for during their stay. Furthermore, we had a memorable experience during our stay at Ophelia’s Point. We already spoke about the strong possibility of making the trip back down to NN of Virginia in the near future. Thank you again for making our stay such a wonderful one!! Don’t pass up the opportunity of crossing the river on the cable ferry :)"

"Amazing time. Very secluded. Such a beautiful and CLEAN place. This was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. They have a little Dyson vacuum to keep it clean. It was great because so many rentals do not even give you a broom to use. Beds are comfortable. The view from the bedroom at night and in the morning was beautiful. We woke up early to catch the sunrise.The pool is so relaxing with the view of the river. We crabbed right off of the dock. Caught so many crabs with hot dogs and Spam. Caught a couple tiny fish off of the dock. There are hundreds of little jellyfish swimming all around. The area doesn’t have much going on but the house had it all. We absolutely loved the place."
