Property was in a good location for our bike trio into Canada. Not much around the hotel. Some areas were questionable. Very limited parking at the hotel

We have stayed at this hotel each time we visit family in Buffalo, having tried a couple of other places and found them wanting. The staff consistently are welcoming and helpful. The overall building similarly has a welcoming feel to it. Our rooms have always been spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, and (most important to us) quiet. The breakfast is a standard Hampton Inn breakfast, which has an adequate assortment of foods available.

Upon arrival, my husband & I were told that our room wasn’t ready. Check in is at 3pm. We hadn’t arrived until 4pm. Everything looked decent at first, so when a staff member had checked in with us, we said “ the room looked good. “ Later on that night when we had wanted to bathe, the shower floor was greasy. There was no shower gel or bath mat. We were already comfortable & tired & did not want housekeeping around us in this state. I have never had such an experience like this when coming to this hotel. You’ve got to do better.

A lovely location, so. So convenient to all we wanted to do. The staff were so helpful especially Janice at the front desk. Rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the morning breakfast! Be sure to try the yummy waffles and other baked goods. Would definitely stay here again!!

Friendly, accommodating staff — upon check in we were told our room was not ready and they weren’t able to give us a time when it would be ready. Check in is 3pm, our room was ready at 6pm. We were comped free parking ($15) for the inconvenience. The room was very clean once we were able to check in. No additional issues.

July 19, 2924. The fitted sheet and mattress pad did not fit the mattress. As a result the sheet and pad were not properly affixed on one corner at the head of the bed. We tried to make these items fit to the mattress but were not able to do so. Neither was a staff member who was dispatched to help. Our main concern was less the “failure to fit” than the fact that the staff had to know the problem existed and failed to see it resolved. So our complaint is really about the communication and management system that seemed to be satisfied that it was OK with letting the customer have a problem. July 20, 2024. Our room was not serviced during our all-day absence. As the computer system was down due to the Microsoft outage we understand the burden on the staff having to run the hotel using manual processing. With respect, Joe Senecal
