Almost everything was outstanding: decor, attention to detail, five course breakfast, gracious engaging hosting, amenities (wine on arrival, bedside nightcap & chocolate), exquisite period restoration and maintenance… astonishing value for money. I would recommend without reservation. Ranks at the top of places I’ve stayed at after a lifetime of travel.

WE STAY HERE EVERY YEAR BEFORE WE ATTEND OUR YEARLY MUSIC FESTIVAL. WE MEET UP WITH FELLOW MUSIC LOVERS AND ENJOY THE LOCAL FOOD AND ATTRACTIONS. THE HOTEL IS CLEAN, QUIET WELL EQUIPPED FOR OUR NEEDS AND THE STAFF IS FANTASTIC. LOVE THAT THEY HAVE BBQ TO USE AND IS NEAR BY TO EVERYTHING YOU COULD NEED IN A SHORT WALK IF NEEDED.

It is a clean comfortable Inn, where the owners genuinely care that you have a great stay. It is a very short walk to the river and downtown where there are restaurants.
Such a better experience than being in tower where nobody talks to one another.
I will be staying again when I am back in the area!

Very nice facility with a very friendly staff. If we weren't in the middle of a very long road trip I would have liked to have stayed longer as the room was very comfortable.

My stay at the Sunset Motel was fantastic. The property is in the process of being updated. The rooms have been nicely updated and are very clean and comfortable. The couple who own the motel are friendly and are in the process of turning the motel into something special. Great location as well with stunning views of the water. I look forward to staying here again.

This property is simply…perfect! Our room was very clean, extremely spacious and comfortable. The hotel is fairly new, well designed and welcoming! We stayed five nights, was like living in your own condo! Highly recommend for stays longer than one or nights!
