Biking, hiking and fishing are all nearby. The Elmaro winery is 10-15 minutes away and was a pleasant experience with great views of the vineyard. We really enjoyed the property with its amazing view of the river and mountains. Wish it didn't rain so we could enjoy the deck and the 9 bicycles in the garage. Jon has thought a lot about what is needed in a VRBO rental like a fully stocked kitchen including coffee and so much more. The fall colors were still beautiful for the end of October and we enjoyed having a "cheers" when the train went by each time. We took a nice morning walk by the river enjoying the sites of this small town along with enjoying the local restaurant and boutique shop while we were here. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed playing ping pong. We wish the weather would've been nicer for us to take advantage of the bicycles..maybe next time. A hot tub on the deck overlooking the river would be a nice addition. We loved the photo wall downstairs. Maybe a few throw blankets could be added for sitting around on cooler mornings. Overall we highly recommend this house as a perfect little get away. ##### Joy B.
