"Very good hotel except one of the towels had a black greenish stain and the hallway walls were a bit scratched and chipped. Other then that everything was great and close to everything. Loved the location. "

"Front desk staff was rude and the room was disgusting. We didn’t have another option for that night so we had to stay there but as soon as we left we went somewhere else to shower and use the bathroom. There are 2 motel 6 on the same road and we booked the wrong one for that night. Please be careful when booking in this area. "

"The hotel is a bit outdated you can definitely tell. I stayed for 3 nights, and overall it wasn’t my best experience. The pillows were extremely soft and would completely deflate, which made it hard to sleep. I’m not sure if it was the bed or the pillows, but I didn’t get much rest. You can also hear noise from neighboring rooms pretty clearly. The bathroom lighting could be improved, and there was a noticeable chlorine smell when showering. I’m also used to hotels including breakfast, so that was on me for not checking ahead of time. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Brownsville when I visit home, and this one is definitely not my favorite. Parking might get full I would make sure I came back by 7 pm not sure if I can park next door and risking vehicle getting towed. Otherwise plenty options to eat "

"Room had mildew smell. Staff was good. Breakfast was always running out. Ac made funny noises all night. Washer and ice machine on floor were out of order. Expexted better from Holiday Inn Express."

"No amenities, roaches in room , room not clean properly, door electronic key pass kept messing up , parking too far away for handicaps , and fakse advertising on pets ( they charge )"

"Paid for 2 rooms with kitchenettes because I was on vacation with 5 kids & didn’t want to eat out the entire time. 1 of the rooms the fridge didn’t work & the stoves didn’t get hot enough to cook. They also had a trash room by one of my rooms & it smelt so bad & carpet was dirty by it. There was a few roaches as well. Staff has good customer service "

"Even tho staff was nice. I rate this a 1 star. I disliked my stay, couldn’t wait till the night was over to leave. I had asked for a non smoking room and it smell like smoke as soon as I walked into room. Bedsheets were dirty. Seemed like someone was in that room before we arrived. Did not enjoy my stay at all! "Room was a dusty, vanity light in bathroom was out and maintenance was already gone. The switch on the lamp by the bed was out. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Wouldn’t go back. "

"I had no hot water despite calling and informing them of the issue. I had to boil hot water ..I was sick and too tired to rebook elsewhere. The issue was not addressed until I checked out. Only one representative attempted to assist me."
