"Lied to about availability of the pool when I phoned to ask about the pool hours before check in. They denied it would be closed for the entire stay when directly asked. Closed the whole time. Housekeeping couldn’t have slammed the door to the room next door more times early in the morning if they’d tried. So annoying. They tried to get into the room twice though I’d added a day to the reservation. When I reported the problem to reception, the same woman (always at the desk in the morning) who lied about the pool was quite rude. Coming back to the room after a long day, the key didn’t work. At the desk, I was told, we locked you out. You need to pay the deposit on extra the night you added. They couldn’t have contacted me and politely requested an update to the deposit? What an awful excuse for service. "

"It’s fine for a hotel off the NJ Turnpike. My complaint is that they started charging for parking, which is insane for a suburban area like this. No other hotel nearby charges for parking. "

"Bathroom had roaches. We even showed the front desk a video of a live roach on its back on their bathroom floor with its legs moving. The clerk denied the hotel had roaches and kept repeating hotel policy when we asked to cancel the rest of our stay and get a refund. There was also active police activity right outside their front entrance, on their lot, during our stay, which made things feel even more uncomfortable. Thankfully Expedia stepped in and helped us get a refund for the remaining nights after the hotel gave us a hard time. Personally, I would avoid staying here."

"My main complaint was the room smelled like smoke from cigarettes. It was so terrible that even the clothes i didnt wear that stayed in my suitcase the whole time smelled like smoke. My son and I had stuffy noses and he even complained the smell was making him dizzy. We had an entire hockey organization stay at this hotel for a tournament we do every year and sadly i wouldnt recommened it for next year. Hopefully people respect the no smoking rules and the hotel can somehow clean the room to remove the smell. Not worth the money we spent for 2 nights. "

"Staff was really friendly however rooms can be cleaned better. There were stains on our bathroom floor that looked like it wasn't mopped. The balcony/patio door lock was broke so they had to put a metal bar on it so no one could enter from the outside. Also, the sliding door for the bedroom didn't work. Room was ok for the reason I needed it but not sure if I'd stay again."
