The hotel itself is lovely and the location is great but unfortunately we arrived late having spent most of the day trying to find somewhere to park - no parking at the hotel, as we were bringing the dog we could not use the Paul Feval (the buses don’t allow dogs) and the nearest recommended car parks all have height restrictions and I had a roof box. I called the hotel for advice but the language barrier was an issue. So stressful, I almost booked another hotel but in the end parked at the station and walked the 25 mins to the hotel with the luggage, dog and two kids. If I hadn’t have had to worry about parking would definitely recommend but in the end the situation was too stressful for me and really ruined the experience.

"Take light luggage to avoid carrying heavy bags upstairs. Book dinner when staying overnight as there are only a few restaurants open at night and a view .the shuttle bus drops you short if 600m from the island. You can’t drive your car on there.
