Brooks was more interesting before 2002 It was actually a fun place in the 90’s But the fishing is great at lake Newell tho .. but it’s really sketchy now especially if you go to the Tim Hortons over by the Canadian Tire .. yikes
It would be nice to have a hand hold to get in & out of the tub; toilet extremely low. First time back since 1970’s. WOW! Very clean modern & large thriving town. Wonderful staff & fine townspeople.
Not overly impressed with restaurant choices, minimal dinning options in the downtown area, which was a 30 minute walk from the hotel, and nothing obvious near the hotel. Ended up buying a 6 pack of beer and a take away pizza for supper in my room.

We found a decent skatepark for our boys. Not much else open on a holiday Monday (breweries, etc)
