One of the best hotel restaurants we've been to! They upgraded our room since it was a slow time of year. Rooms are beautiful, historic with modern touches. Great service!

Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.

The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub.
Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population.
The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.

Beautifully maintained older home. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was situated between Summertown and the city centre, and about 15 minutes walk to both. We arrived after 6:00 but instructions were sent for easy entry. The room was unlocked and keys left on the bed, with necessary information. It was too cold to eat breakfast outside but garden looked lovely for warmer weather. Would be happy to stay here again.
