Pros:The cottage was clean and had coffee keurigs, and creamer and the kitchen had everything you would need to make a meal. The bed was firm, and pillows were soft and comfortable. There was a TV set and a working fireplace which was very nice. Cons:The sheets I discovered had blood stains which grossed me out. I texted Ashley and she had someone come out the next morning and changed them. The shower area is so so tiny, smaller than a cruise ship shower. There was no area to place your soap while showering. You held the soap or dropped it to the floor. And risk getting hurt since the shower was so small. The common area where the fireplace and TV are is an enclosed porch. Which felt a bit strange it was never truly warm unless you had the fireplace place on. We were there during December so I would have liked it warmer. Overall the place was clean, and cute. The cabin is approximately 20 feet lower than the driveway. There are no steps, but rather an extremely steep sidewalk with no railing on either side. When I arrived, it had been raining, and I was concerned with the possibility of a slip and fall, particularly considering that I was carrying suitcases and coolers. I was surprised.
