Beautiful hotel in a great location. Walking distance to many local attractions, boutiques and dining venues. Very clean rooms and common areas. Each guest room is unique in its own historical way. Beds are extremely comfortable. Onsite restaurant was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel anyone staying in the Salem/Beverly/Marblehead/Swampscott/Peabody area.

This was a very wonderful and relaxing stay for my daughter and I. The staff at the Tavern were top notch and we ended up eating dinner there both nights we stayed. We loved the proximity to everything we wanted to do in the area. Will definitely stay again!

Loved the old charm of this hotel. The staff is helpful. Some of the items in the hotel could be updated while still keeping the old charm. For example, the door handle on the bathroom was old and ready to fall off and the fixtures and window was very old. Overall, it was a good stay and I'd stay again.

Room was clean and staff very friendly The location is excellent; honestly I don't think you'll find a better one! My only observation is that the breakfast wait was far too long. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Other then that everything was fantastic!
