Anderson Valley supports over fifty vineyards and wineries, with one thousand acres of wine in production. Thirteen of these wineries have tasting rooms, including world class Roederer Estate, all within a ten minute drive from Boonville. Also home of the legendary 'Boonville Beer' which is served at the Buckhorn Saloon and restaurant - a two minute walk from 'Redwood Rest.' Hendy Woods State Park, with its two majestic groves of old growth redwoods is minutes away and a wonderful place to visit and hike its trails.

If you are desiring a quiet respite from the noise and traffic of urban living; Anderson Valley with its scenic views, wildlife, redwoods, and vineyards is the place to be! A tranquil getaway for biking, lunch, picnics or wine tasting. Vintagee wine tours located in town is a safe and convenient way to visit the tasting rooms located in the area.
