Have fun playing in our decked-out game room or watching a movie on the big screen. At night, you’ll be surrounded by the peaceful chirping of crickets and a millions twinkling stars. You’ll feel secluded on our quiet, paved, dead-end street but will still be less than 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms across the three levels, our cabin has plenty of room for your group to spread out. The spacious loft bedroom contains a queen bed, a private bathroom, a desk if you need to stay connected during your trip. It also has a personal screened-in veranda to watch the sun come up while sipping your morning coffee. The main floor boasts a large open kitchen, living/dining room and big screen TV with Netflix, Sling, and Disney+, perfect for hosting a family movie night. The gas fireplace (Oct.- April) puts out a ton of heat and is perfect for cozying up with a book on a cool night. There is also a well-stocked kitchen, dining table seating for eight and four additional seats at the bar. The main floor also includes the master bedroom with a king bed, an en suite bathroom, and access to the main floor porch. The enormous screened-in porch doubles the main floor living space and includes room for a family meal, a cozy seating area for drinks, and a giant chess/ checkers board. There is a relaxing hot tub with a waterfall feature and lights and a fire table for enjoying a drink on cooler nights. There are also several anti-gravity chairs where you can kick back and let your stress melt away. The hand-made fire pit in the front yard is perfect for making s’mores and telling stories around the camp fire. The amazing game room includes a poker/ bumper pool table, an arcade with over 16,000 games, an air hockey table, connect four, and other games to keep your group entertained. The basement area also includes the “Cub Den” bedroom with a queen bed and twin bunk beds, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. There is also a sleeper sofa in the game room to increase the sleeping arrangement options. Got kids? So do we, and we know how challenging it can be to pack everything they will need on vacation. We provide a pack n’ play, high chair, step stool, kids’ books, and toys to keep your little angels happy. The three bathrooms are shower-only so we also provide a foldable bathtub for little ones. Bringing a Furry Friend? We have a fenced area outside for pets to play safely and provide a dog bed and bowls. Our cabin is located in an outstanding location “away from it all” but still only 10 minutes to the unique shops and restaurants, scenic railway, and city park in downtown Blue Ridge. We’re 5 minutes to Bear Claw winery, 10 minutes to Mercier Orchards, and 15 minutes to the Aska Trails Parking area. The private road is paved and easy access with no 4-wheel drive vehicles required (maybe only if there is snow/ice.) The cabin has comfortable parking for 4 to 5 vehicles. We had a bad start because the fireplace didn't work and it was a 2 day maintenance visit. The first night, we found there were no working lights for the dog yard, so we had to take her out on the leash instead. Also, don't expect a "real" great mountain view. You can see a mountain in the distance between the trees. We never even got an apology for the inconvenience, as far as I recall. The game room was a huge hit with everyone, especially the arcade with 2,000 different games and the air hockey table. The screened-in porch was very nice to sit out late and watch the fireflies. Easy to get to and close to everything. The owners were super quick to respond to every email. It was just a pleasure to work with them and I highly recommend this cabin. ##### Gary B. We loved sitting on the screened in porch and making s'mores at the fire pit. There were 3 adult couples and we liked that the bedrooms were all on different floors and each had its own bathroom, giving everyone some privacy. Also, the living room had plenty of seating for everyone, which is lacking at some cabins. Most importantly, we were able to bring our dog :-) We highly recommend Sweet Tea and Starlight and hope to stay there again in the future. ##### Julie S. The cabin is big and beautiful and full of fun inside and out! Location is easy to get to and shopping etc is right around the corner. The sunsets were incredibly beautiful and memorable. We enjoyed playing bumper pool so much! Nights around the campfire, gazing at the universe in a quiet setting is exactly why we booked this beautiful cabin. We even made friends with a local cat who chatted us up at the campfire for three hours, oh the tales he told us lol. We highly recommend this five star cabin. The hosts were impeccable in their communication and making sure we had everything we needed and inquiry if we needed anything. We will recommend to friends and family and likely book again in the future! Wish I could share photos of the incredible sunsets because the sky was painted in such a way just for us! ##### Linda F. Upon arrival, we had a couple of items that Matt addressed immediately - nothing major but super quick to respond and make sure our stay was the best it could be. The location is great! It’s only about 10 mins to Blue Ridge - with easily driven roads. It’s far enough out that it felt very private. The cabin was very clean and appointed well. It is one of the best we have seen when it comes to kitchen items, a sound machine that was appreciated because we forgot the remote to our sons, plenty of towels, and enough paper and soap starters. The layout was wonderful for our family. Our son loved the downstairs game room and bunks while the loft was perfect for my in laws. The living area was so comfy with plenty of seating. The beds were comfortable. If we go back - which we would definitely do again - we would bring our family dog. There is a fenced area that he would have loved. .The porch was amazing - completely screened. We spent quite a bit of time there. My group consisted of myself, my boyfriend and the 7 kids between us that range from 8-19.. Mostly teens. We had plenty of space. They never got bored. Everyone had a blast in the game room. The den was spacious enough for a nice movie night. And everyone loved the hot tub. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had pretty much everything you need to serve up a great meal.. Including plenty of plates, glasses and silverware. The house is towards the end of a paved dead end road. It was very conveniently located about 10-15 minutes to Walmart and most of the places we wanted to go.The only issues we encountered was the master bedroom locks but can still be pushed open. And the house is on well water so there was an issue with it the last morning we were there. I contacted the host and he responded promptly and made up for it. But I wouldn't let that worry you because even city water lines mess up from time to time. Also, just want to assure you, there was no well water taste or smell at all. Overall, I'd definitely recommend booking this house. And I would absolutely stay there again if I vacationed in this area again.💓 ##### Michelle C.
