The Kennedy house is located right on the main street so it makes it very easy to get around town without having to use a vehicle. We parked our car for 3 nights and walked everywhere. The onsite bar and restaurant was good but they didn't offer breakfast. We had a nice view of the bay of fundy from our room. Understaffed....during check-in there was one person working the reception desk and the bar and of course the bar patrons took priority over the people checking in. I can understand streamlining your staff during off season, but a Friday of a June weekend? It seemed understaffed the entire weekend. The floor in our room was filthy but the linens and towels were good and the bed was comfortable. Its in serious need of an update. I thought it was really overpriced but I guess the convenience of being right in the main area of St. Andrews justifies the price.

This is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Amazing staff, great breakfast, awesome rooms!

I lived in Saint John for over a decade and since moving, I’ve stayed at this hotel several times under the Hilton brand. This was my first time staying under new ownership and will give the Delta a go next time. The underground parking garage always had clear signage directing to the hotel entrance, that is gone and took some time to find the door from the parkade. While heading to the counter to check in, I stopped around the corner to put my bag down and gather my intel needed to check in- the woman working the desk was ushering me to check in and think it’s just a cultural difference but wasn’t a very pleasant procedure feeling such a sense to rush when no one else was checking in. I am usually asked if I want to pay the hotel for “in out” parking privileges and she wouldn’t provide me with such and said to pay the garage, hence unable to leave without paying again. I’ve always had water provided in my room whether it’s to drink or use for the coffee instead of city water - they have removed this ‘perk’ which is a tight corner to cut. I am hopeful this hotel will improve from its current state and do miss chatting with the locals that used to welcome me - it’s a great location with a lot of potential.
