Our room was spotless, and I enjoyed the setting, but I was very disappointed when I wanted to use the pool and was asked to pay an extra £10 per person. How can a hotel guest be expected to pay to use the hotel's own pool? I have stayed in many hotels—in Scotland, Venice, Germany, Spain—and this is the first time I have ever experienced something like this. I found it to be in very poor taste and disrespectful to the guest!.On top of that, as a guest, you have to pay 24 pounds a day... I hope that in the future they don't start charging extra for taking a shower in your room.

Room was overpriced for a concert, £400 per night when £220 normally. I’d expect an uplift but not this much.
Room was worn, fan and windows dusty and unclean. Other room had no hot water in shower so unable to use.
Noisy and limited sleep although bed comfortable
No bar as closed.
WiFi non existent and no 5G signal so if you want a quiet night and no shower then ideal place.

Staff fantastic. Location convenient. Definitely value for money.
Decor is funny because rooms are massive so it feels like they’re hard to fill.
Shower wasn’t very cold, is only a negative because of the outrageous heat at the minute. Assume AC was broke because we got given fans
