"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "This spot is a gem! We booked last minute after a mm unexpected change in travel plans and the property/service did not disappoint. The grounds are quaint but beautiful and staff was friendly. Breakfast was included and so yummy, they even had a cookie hour! We would stay here again!"
