"Beautiful grand hotel, amazing hall, high ceilings, great value for money, it is really worth paying a little extra for the classic rooms to experience this grand building (the cosy rooms on the top floor are fine but small, low ceiling and not particularly good value for money). The buffet breakfast is in a grand classic ballroom-type room with 5m high ceilings. Really worth it. Service was really pleasant, but they allocated us a cosy room on arrival vs the classic room we had booked:...

"Lovely hotel although a little dated . Floors throughout the hotel were very creaky. Our room was clean and well appointed. The staff were all great, breakfast was prepared for us and was adequate."

Food was OK and front desk attendant was nice.Most enjoyed our room which was in a little cottage across the street from the office. Very convenient to the shops and high street of the local area. "
