Birkhill Vacation Packages

Hotels location and amenities were fantastic. It’s a beautiful building but in need of some love. Housekeeping was very poor and quite comical really. Unfortunately the attitude of the front desk regarding the housekeeping doubled down on the disappointment. Rooms are quite tired with firm beds and older windows that wind whistles through. I could also hear someone snoring in the room next door, that was quite surprising and not ideal. Then there’s the weddings. Noise travels all through the building from the function suite and wedding guests are not respectful of other hotel users (front desk once again not interested with poor attitude). Expect lots of noise and very little rest over the weekends. I would stay again but with lower expectations. Would also note pool and gym facilities are not included which is very disappointing.

I totally recommend this hotel it is situated in middle of the town and staff are very helpful.the facilities are great with pool and sauna to visit with bus stop right at the door of hotel if u want to go to other towns for the day would go back to this hotel.

Quite a run-down hotel. The room, especially the bathroom could have done with a deep clean. Restaurant is way overpriced for what is basically some Wetherspoons-style badly microwaved food. Only great thing is that staff were lovely and helpful, but would definitely not stay again. Also, walls and floors are paper-thin so you feel like you are sleeping next to whoever is next door. Fun!

Great location to city centre, has parking but arrive in time to get a space. Rooms are amazing and staff are very helpful

Small rooms and not even a table/rack for keeping luggage in the room. A small closet for clothes. Small washroom. Probably, that's the norm. However, clean and well maintained. The breakfast spread was average. Location is outstanding. Its in the city centre, has bus stops close by and the Train station right next to it.
