The only strong point of TownePlace Suites near Cal Expo is the convenient location. Unfortunately, the property feels outdated and my room (3108) was messy. The shower backsplash was cracked, the toilet paper holder misaligned, and the carpet worn.
I emailed photos to the front desk manager, Alison, as requested, but never received a response. There was also a false fire alarm one night.
Overall, there is significant room for improvement in both maintenance and customer service.

Everything was amazing. We booked the presidential suite for my 50th birthday. The manager had complimentary champagne in the room waiting for us when we arrived. The room was amazing and clean. Service was great as always. We loved our stay here.

This was an exceptionally quaint, well run, and peaceful place to visit. Plus the location next to so many good restaurants and Hinterhaus was ideal for the capstone to a day in the woods or snow.
